Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning is a public college based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, with an enrollment of 11,000 full-time students, 30,000 part-time students, 3,300 students set history. 


History 
The school was founded in 1967 as the Conestoga College of Applied Arts and Technology, one of many such organizations were established at that time by the government of Ontario to award diplomas and certificates in the skill-oriented programs related careers. It was renamed in 2002 when the government expanded the reach of the school, particularly in the areas of level-based technologies.

Over the years, it has added other programs like the Masters program in Business Administration, in partnership with the University of Windsor. In addition, the school has a nursing training program leading to a new Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc.N.) degree. Students accepted into the program in Nursing Conestoga will have all four years of studying at the Doon School in Kitchener. Graduates of the program will receive a degree from McMaster University.

Starting in August 2003 started two new programs that will be the first to award a degree to students entirely through university. These two programs are KS. Mechanical system program, a technical program fully accredited by Engineers Canada and B.A.Tech Architecture - Project and Asset Management. In 2007, a B.A. Tuesday Tech in integrated telecommunications and computer technology, programs are added to the target embedded hardware and software system design and manufacturing. All three programs the graduates with Bachelor of Technology Application. Starting from 2005 the new Bachelor of Health Sciences applications Degree in Health Informatics Management; was started at the School of Health Sciences, Community Services and Biotechnology.

In 2006, the school bought the former University Heights Secondary School in Waterloo nearly $ 6 million, in which case its Waterloo moved a year later. The hotel is larger than its former Waterloo schools, which the university will sell to cover the cost of significant purchase.
Curriculum 
Conestoga has one, two, three or four-year programs; as well as vocational training programs.
